Meet Daniel Steele
From the Mountains of Colorado
to Your Corner in Kentucky
Daniel’s journey to insurance is anything but ordinary. Growing up as the third oldest of eight kids in Sturgis, Michigan, this gave him an early education in patience, communication, and looking out for others. These skills translate remarkably well to helping families find the right coverage.
After studying theology and philosophy at Holy Apostles College & Seminary, Daniel made his way to Denver, Colorado. While there, he met his wife Julia through a mutual friend. The two married not long after, and eventually planted roots in Crestwood, KY, where they’re raising their son, Leo. Julia and Daniel are expecting their second child soon!
What draws him to the independent agency world? The ability to be a true advocate — finding what’s genuinely best for each client rather than pushing a single product. His background in theology may seem unexpected for insurance, but it speaks to something deeper: Daniel is someone who has always been driven by purpose and a desire to serve others well.
When he’s not helping clients navigate their policies, you’ll likely find Daniel on a trail, scaling a rock face, or hunting down the best local coffee shop with Julia — ideally with an indie-folk playlist queued up.
Fun Fact: Daniel is one of eight siblings. Reading a room, staying calm under pressure, and making sure everyone feels heard? This is where Daniel thrives.
Meet Andrew Wuertz
Louisville’s Own —
Building Big Relationships, One Policy at a Time
If you’re looking for someone who bleeds Louisville pride, look no further than Andrew Wuertz. A proud alumnus of DeSales High School and attended Western Kentucky University (where he studied Business Management and called Sigma Chi home). Andrew is deeply rooted in the community he serves.
Andrew joined the insurance industry in 2023 and has already made a name for himself through his ambition, work ethic, and — most notably — his ability to make clients feel genuinely at ease. For Andrew, insurance isn’t a transaction; it’s a relationship. He believes every family deserves to fully understand and feel confident about the coverage protecting their lives.
Life at home is joyfully busy: Andrew and his wife are raising their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and just welcomed their second child! The children and wrangling three dogs keeps them busy. However, they still find time for weekend rounds of golf, trips to the park, and cheering on whatever sport is in season.
His goal? Make insurance simple, clear, and tailored. A phrase that sounds straightforward, but takes real dedication to deliver on every single time. Andrew is doing exactly that.
Fun Fact: Andrew manages a household with three dogs, two kids, and a golf handicap — which means he’s professionally trained in patience, multitasking, and staying cool under pressure.
